My system has not been updated for 3 years. okay but if you look at it closely, you will see the most recent stable version is 3.6.2 which is readily available for installation… so i think you should use that and rather forward any error messages you get for troubleshooting
it seems there is no maintainer and it not so easy to do the upgrade to MuseScore 4
yeah, was the reason for to request a simple fix from canonical team or package musescore alternatives
