I doubt that this is a problem with the Snap Store itself, but I have no other experience with the Snap environment to guide me. I have a couple of apps that had installed on my Raspberry Pi using the Snap Store. One such was Cheese. But after running it one time, there were two Cheese icons in the Sound & Video menu. After running it a second time, there were three icons. Now there are four. In fact, the Snap Store item also occurs twice in the Preferences menu. I think that’s after running it once. I just launched it again, no new icons this time. Any thoughts here? No idea where to check. Thanks.
Sounds like an issue with the desktop and how it handles the icons/.desktop files… what OS and release are you using? (The full output of snap version might help too…)
