A fresh install of ubuntu 20.04.
I installed Mosquitto with snap.
Mosquito is rurning will after some basic test.
I have to add a user with the command mosquitto_password.
But this command is not available.
How can I add a user?

With the snap of mosquitto, the command to use is mosquitto.passwd. Perhaps the publisher of the mosquitto snap could also ask for an alias for mosquitto.passwd to mosquitto_passwd.

Should I create th password in /etc/mosquitto/ folder ?

Hi Thierry,
There is some fairly brief snap specific documentation at https://mosquitto.org/documentation/using-the-snap/ - if any of it doesn’t make sense please let me know, it’s still fairly new and I’m sure could be improved.
I’m going to open a request to get the mosquitto_passwd alias added.
