Media controls not working with Snap Browsers & Spotify on Kubuntu 24.04

With Kubuntu 23.10 and even during testing of Kubuntu 24.04 media keys worked like they were suppose to. I was able to Play, Pause, etc. Youtube Video or Video Podcasts (via Pocket Cast), but once 24.04 was installed and updates came in I was not able to control my media. This was the same with snap version of Firefox, Chromium, and even the newly released Vivaldi Browser. Also Spotify snap seems to have lost this ability as well. Looking around the web I am not the only one having this issue. Also this has gone long enough w/o any answer.

  1. Media Contorls in context menu of Firefox not working,

  2. Spotify snap on Kubuntu 24.04 audio controls are not working,

  3. I can’t get Plasma broswer integration working in Forefox.

Currently I have a workaround and that was to install Flatpak version of Firefox. But I would like to use snap as I think it better built than Flatpak version.

Oh before I forget, I have done some testing and it looks like this is still present in Kubuntu 24.10 (testing).
