Maybe create a new version for nautilus in snapcraft to take care of the update?

• I did see at https://snapcraft.io/nautilusfilemanager that nautilus already exists. But I don’t know the corresponding github repository location of this snap package. Its version is too outdated. Is it allowed to update and overwrite the snap package name of https://snapcraft.io/nautilusfilemanager with the same package name?

you can go to the “register snap” page of your user account on snapcraft.io … it will tell you the package name is already taken and offer you a “dispute” button or link, where you can ask to take over the name then …

note though that this would have to be a classic snap and
