Libbylinux does not launch

I installed libbylinux on Ubuntu 20.04LTS and 22.04LTS using command: sudo snap install libbylinux

Both installs completed successfully. But, when launching “libbylinux” from the command line, absolutely nothing happens. The terminal immediately returns to its idle state without even a error message.

Any one else experiencing this bug?

Try sudo libbylinux. This works for me using Fedora.

Thanks. It didn’t work. Generated a Permission denied error accessing /run/user/0. I gave up on the app. Using the web interface instead, https://libbyapp.com.

Hi @srlevit , the program works well on this device .

No LSB modules are available.

Distributor ID: Ubuntu

Description: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS

Release: 22.04

Codename: jammy

I recommend you to reinstall the program .

Purge the program in question, then reinstall it. Scenario →

sudo snap remove --purge libbylinux

sudo snap install libbylinux

Thanks. But, still no luck.
