Hi,
since the last LO snap from 3 September 2021, I can’t import JPEG pictures into Writer anymore. It raises the error “image filter not found”. And old .odt files with pictures just show blank boxes instead of pictures. Did a fresh reinstall and reproduced this error on my Notebook.
I’ve reproduced this as well, @hellsworth can you please take a look?

@gernophil note that you can always do
sudo snap revert libreoffice
to go back to the last good version on disk … (next new revision in the store will then auto-update you again)
It should be fixed in the current stable version by https://github.com/ubuntu/libreoffice/commit/ce769e30
