Keepassxc snap no longer working with gnome overlay launcher in artful (update: actually, it's all of my desktop snaps)

I can’t figure out why the keepassxc snap is no longer found or launchable from the gnome overlay.

It works on my xenial laptop, but not my artful one. I think it worked on my artful laptop at some point, but my memory might be wrong.

I found an answered question in askubuntu, but all of those packages are already installed on my system.

Aside, there is no longer a SnapTips wiki on the keepassxc repo. I was hoping to find advice there. :frowning:

It works fine for me, on 17.10

But I do have some variations from any standard system. I boot a non Ubuntu kernel with apparmor=0 and also,

It shows up for me as well on a relatively stock 17.10 install. Do you
have a desktop file for it in /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/ ?

Yes. Odd. Actually, none of them are working. Maybe I changed some setting in gnome such that it doesn’t search all of the correct places.

It also works fine here on 17.10 wayland.

bionic here, it works without issues.

I can’t figure out how I’ve managed to break functionality for all of my desktop snaps. Any other suggestions for what to check?
