Kdenlive does not start, running Wayland

Hi,

[Ubuntu 20.04, Kdenlive 20.04, Gnome session]
Running X11, it’s ok.
In Wayland :

 MLT ERROR:
 "[consumer sdl2_audio ] Failed to initialize SDL: Could not setup connection to PulseAudio"

What can I do to make it start without error in my Wayland session ?

The kdenlive snap does not appear to plug the wayland interface, probably that needs to be added to the snap at least, but I’m not sure if the application supports wayland properly in addition to that. The snap is maintained by KDE, you could try filing an upstream issue with them about wayland support.
