KDE: kjournald system-files autoconnect request

Hi! kjournald has changed and log-observe no longer works. I need

system-journal:
    interface: system-files
    read:
    - /var/log/journal/

auto-connect in order for it to be able to read system.journal files Thanks for your consideration. Scarlett

Hmm, why does log-observe not work anymore? Did we break anything we could fix there ? (It gives exactly the read access your system-files definition does)

hmm, okay, then something else is broken. Disregard this while I do some further debugging. I will let you know if it is some you did. I doubt it is as the application did some major rework recently.

As @ogra mentioned, log-observe gives you exactly this access. Could you check if the issue is on the app side?

Yes, if it is exactly the same it is definitely an issue with the app. As mentioned there were significant changes. This can be closed. Sorry for the noise.
