Hello, ark expected functionality needs udisks2 for users to see a populated files listing in create archive so they can select files to add. Right now it is an awkward file → open for every file. Thanks for your consideration, Scarlett

@scarlettmoore are you able to provide any more details on how ark is using udisks2? Also any relevant dmesg DENIAL messages as well would be helpful. Thanks.

Thanks - +1 from me for auto-connect, ark has a clear requirement for udisks2 for its standard functionality.
I agree with Alex, +1 also from me for grating ark auto-connect to udisk2 interface
