I Recently changed to the snap version of Firefox with Ubuntu 22.04 and I’m having a couple of issues with removable media
- I can write to the root of external HDDs, but not to any folder. Downloads to these folders just fail silently.
- I have a NTFS partition in my internal drive that I can’t write to at all. Downloads again fail silently. It’s not “removable media”, but it’s also mounted in /media/username with the external drives.
- I can open and upload files in these locations normally
- Non snap programs can read/write normally
I also tried in chromium and the behavior was the same
Is there some configuration option I’m missing? Both browsers have permission to access removable media
