Using a base: core22 snap and the gnome extension I’m running into an issue with MESA:
libGL error: DRI driver not from this Mesa build ('23.0.4-0ubuntu1~22.04.1' vs '23.2.1-1ubuntu3.1~22.04.2')
I have a feeling that it’s easily to accidentally stage-package something that conflicts with what’s in the GNOME extension for the particular base.
Yup, it can often, just remove the files that are already in the gnome-extension. It’s always better to use the cleanup part at the end of your manifest.
I wonder if we document anywhere that gnome extension is incompatible with the regular distro packages.
It’s not specifically incompatible, rather, the support packages that were built against that particular mesa will not work. And I think the jammy packages have got an update, so, probably the gnome-sdk just needs an update too.
