Interface for sys dmi info

Hi,

Is there any interface that covers read access to things such as this ?

/sys/devices/virtual/dmi/id/product_name
/sys/devices/virtual/dmi/id/product_version

…and a related question, what is the best way to check that for myself ? Is it just digging through some AppArmor templates in snapd code ?
