Installing snap on GalliumOS

GalliumOS is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution for Google’s Chrome OS devices.

Snap can be installed from the Synaptic package manager, found in the System menu. Simply search for snapd and install the snapd package from the list of results.

Install from the command line

Snap can also be installed from the command line. Open Xfce Terminal from the panel and enter the following:

$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt install snapd

can you tell me your experience with Gallium Os, I mean is it just for dual-booting purposes between chrome os and gallium or offer really something different?
i was checking this gallium os article for getting the idea, my Chromebook cannot have dual booting functionality, so I need to know if gallium can work with other Os like windows system too?
Thanks in advance
