Install from local files

A block error definitely crashed the system that was pretty new and updated.
After reinstalling linux on a new (used) hard disk, and using a limited 3g internet connection, it would really make sens to just reinstall the apps from the snaps files from the old hard disk (connected as a exernal usb storage).

I have found few of the .snap and .assert files based on the explanation here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1266894/how-can-i-install-a-snap-package-from-a-local-file

but I don’t really get anything working.

I wish this would be a real option, but I can understand it is not, as the snaps means: the connected world… right ?

Thank you for your time

It didn’t work for you? Did you get any error that you could paste here?
