For example https://snapcraft.io/borger3/ shows the icon on the webpage, and it did for a time show in the Ubuntu software application, but now it shows a default program icon in the Ubuntu software application.
Anyone have any idea why this would happen? Do I need to include some specific setting in the snapcraft.yaml now?

Seems to be a bug in the software center; it no longer displays the icon for installed software. I will confirm this later, but at the moment uninstalling seems to restore the icon.
… but installing does not always make the icon not register anymore for installed software, odd.
The part I need to confirm is that uninstalling always restores the snap icon in the Ubuntu software center which seems to be the case at the moment.
