How to install snapd in centos6

Hi, everyone:

I want to install snapd in centos6, but cannot do it.

In the website https://snapcraft.io/docs/installing-snap-on-centos, there are seams only provide snapd in centos7,8, not including centos6.

So, can centos6 run snapd? how to install snapd in centos6?

Thank you very much for any response.
Thank you ~~~

I’m afraid this might be more complicated, snapd currently relies on systemd to provide mechanism for managing mounts, services, timers and socket activation. If I remember correctly CentOS 6 used upstart. If you’re feeling brave, you can to hack snapd into supporting upstart. I recall a bunch of people asking about a plain sysvinit support, but we haven’t seen any support being proposed upstream.

Thank you very much~
