How to install file sharing?

I could really do with a way of bi-directional sharing files with my Windows development.
I can’t find a suitable snap so I resorted to installing classic and installing samba. The install works but I can’t run the service to start it “Running in chroot, ignoring request.”

Any ideas how I can achieve this?

Probably by making a samba snap…

classic is a development environment and explicitly does not allow services to be started (classic is just a chroot, there is no systemd running inside to manage any services)
