It seems gphotos-cli (newb) has phased out.
From their github page:
WARNING: This tool is likely to not work after October 3rd 2022 because it uses now deprecated OAuth methods. I don’t have any immediate plans to work on this so if you can, please do.

There’s a competing gphotos-cli from trinhdrew. Unfortunately also it has phased out with the removing of photoslibrary from google-apis.
If no one interested in the task(s) I suggest removing gphotos-cli from Snap.
