GIMP Snap, no Python support

I was using an AppImage in 21.10. After upgrade to 22.04, AppImage are no longer working.

The next best thing was GIMP through Ubuntu Sofware. But the Python plugins like Resynthesiser are not working in GIMP now.

Is there a way out? Thanks.

You might need to install libfuse2 (as noted in the 22.04 release notes).

yep, it was mentioned in the bold part under “desktop” in the release notes of 22.04 … (among other known issues listed there)

Thanks. Let us say I am happy with GIMP snap. Any chance we can make Python plugins work?
