Looks like a lot of people using Ubuntu at their job were doing the same thing. This is the number of active users of the Mattermost snap:
The steep drop is Christmas, the first bump is January the 2nd and the real uptake starts at January the 6th.
Mattermost (pictured above) saw the biggest drop (25%), Krita and Minecraft only saw about a ~7% drop. This supports the idea that Mattermost has a large professional userbase.
Interestingly, all distro’s and Ubuntu versions lose ~25%. I would’ve guessed that people using Ubuntu exclusively for their jobs would be using an LTS version, but that’s not visible in the numbers.
