Firefox enable wayland

It is my understanding that @kenvandine and possibly others are involved in firefox’s snap packaging effort upstream, so I’m asking here.

Would it be possible to enable the wayland backend? At the moment, the snap has DISABLE_WAYLAND=1 set. Is there really a reason to set this explicitly? Firefox needs explicit opt-in anyway (atm) via MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND.

Even if the above is unset, the firefox build still lacks the wayland backend, I think. Is this something that’s going to change in the near future?

Thanks @ppd, an upstream bug report is indeed the way to go about such a request.
