      • reasoning: I noticed AppArmor denials, which I reported here. The Firefox snap maintainer suggested an auto-connection request be attempted. While not critical to the behaviour of Firefox, the lack of access to system timezone changes does cause issues. The change that introduced these dependencies in Firefox is here. Stricly speaking, only a read-only interface is required, but I didn’t see a timezone interface that allowed read-only access. The AppArmor logging suggested using one of ‘time-control, timeserver-control, timezone-control’ to resolve the denial, all of which allow writes in addition to reads, but this seems very low risk.
