Why offer markup in snap descriptions if not all snap outlets use the markup formatting? Such as the Ubuntu software app. It just means my snap description will only look good on the snapcraft website and like illegible trash on the Ubuntu software store.

I noticed that too… had to remove markup or my description would look bad on the store app and snap info command (which BTW, could probably filter out markdown before printing the description).
