/etc/ssl directory not binding on snaps for Ubuntu derivatives (not flavors)

It was pointed out to me recently here that /etc is supposed to bind in Snaps

Firefox Snap doesn't recognize root certificate

Just mine, but it’s actually just Neon with Tuxedo kernel But the rest are standard Kubuntu/Ubuntu 24.04 I poked into few of the ones I deployed and I noticed that all of them DO have the certificates, and /etc is indeed binding However, Firefox still doesn’t use those certificates

In Tuxedo OS on my gaming PC, KDE Neon in my office desktop & Pop!_OS on my personal ThinkPad, I don’t see it mounted.

Kubuntu 22.04, 24.04 & Ubuntu 24.04 in the office, and my Lubuntu 25.04 (devel) VM are shown to be mounting.

Am I missing something that needs to be installed/enabled for Snaps to behave the same way as Ubuntu and its flavors.

I have yet to check my Arch VM, and will update this if its the same.

Not really, what was pointed out to you is that /etc/ssl is mounted into the snap namespace… Not all of /etc

My bad. Its fixed. Are there others that should be bound?
