Easy openvpn

We have an issue with the easy openvpn snap that we’d like to work with canonical on; the snap defines a systemd file for the server, but not the client, and at least in our case this is really important (we think it’s probably important in most use-cases).

Is there some way we can contribute to this snap? Or is there a maintainer we can reach out to? A repo we can send a pull request to?

It seems like the best place to track requests would be:

as listed in the command:

snap info easy-openvpn

Looks like someone made this exact feature request in August and there’s been no response @JamieBennett:

Can you confirm if @jhodapp or Wayne Gribble are the current maintainers of this snap? Is this snap maintained at all?

You are very welcome to contribute to this snap. Pull requests can be proposed against https://code.launchpad.net/~snappy-hwe-team/snappy-hwe-snaps/+git/easy-openvpn .

Hey @abeato thanks for replying. Can you indicate if this is a pull request which would be merged?

@cailen it would be subject to review, but I do not see any reason to not accept something in the line you suggest if properly implemented.
