This is a notice that the snap ‘easy-openvpn’ is about to be deprecated. The reasoning for this is that the snap is based on a github project called docker-openvpn, as opposed to being built from software from the Ubuntu archive, and as such we cannot provide the usual assurances with respect to bug fixes and/or security patches.

If anyone is interested in taking over maintenance of this snap, please respond to this post and we can discuss a name transfer, otherwise this snap will be unpublished soon.
