I’m afraid this one came in at about the same time as this other topic. Sorry that this one got left in limbo as a result! That wasn’t intentional.

Access to specific hidden file path in users $HOME

If someone were going to pick this up, I suggest starting with the name ‘import-path-support’. The apparmor policy would allow readonly access. Please keep in mind that the name, the security policy and example snap.yaml might be subject to change during PR review. Eg, the above assumes ‘read only imports’, but perhaps the interface should be more generalized and allow writes too.

I’m closing this, so discussion can focus on that one, but give me a shout if you’d rather keep this open for some reason.
