Docker snap release strategy

Hi,

Recently the docker snap caught us again  It seems all the docker channels got updated in a couple of days, which broke our services from edge to stable. I remember there is a release cycle for a snap from edge -> beta -> candidate -> stable. Can you please share some details how the release cycle looks like? How long will it take from edge to other channels? I saw some posts to ask for tests on a snap. Is there a way to subscribe these updates?

Thanks,

Take the snap Core20 as an example. Its publishing time from oldest to latest: beta < candidate < stable < edge. To my understanding, it should be stable < beta < candidate < edge.

There are no strict rules. It depends on the processes of each Snap’s maintainer(s).
