Hello, I would like to request classic confinement for devpack-for-rust. This is an “install wizard” tool that helps you go from a blank machine to a Rust development environment; the user picks the tooling they want and devpack-for-rust installs it.
This requires classic confinement because the tool must make apt and snap invocations to install the tools.
It is a Canonical roadmap item and I am requesting this in my capacity as a Canonical developer. You can see the source code here: https://github.com/canonical/devpack-for-rust
