"detection of potentially harmful contents in snap metadata"

https://dashboard.snapcraft.io/snaps/claptrap/revisions/3/

Revisions 1 & 2 were published without issue but revision 3 was flagged:

human review required due to detection of potentially harmful contents in snap metadata metadata-snap-v2_snap_metadata_redflag

I know my code is bad, but hopefully not harmful

Oddly, they were all built from exactly the same git commit and therefore metadata. Also odd that some subsequent revisions with exactly the same metadata were later published ok (OpenID transaction in progress) but most are blocked on a manual review. Some malfunctioning security algo?

I tried manually rejecting revision 3 (and several others) but that did not help. Right now the latest revisions are all blocked on:

Revision waiting for review of a previous upload: revision #3

How do I unblock things? Just wait for a manual review?

Thanks

I have also encountered this issue, but it has now been resolved by the store.

Hi,

These revisions flagged for manual review were related to the recent rollout of Policy - Restricting sensitive snap categories to trusted publishers The server side required some tweaking and tuning to handle the number of requests and some revisions were flagged due to rate limiting.

We will keep a checking the metrics but please let us know if you see this again.

Regards
