I have just noticed that the description field for my project in dashboard.snapcraft.io is empty apart from the header line. The full description is still in snapcraft.io.
I have been accustomed to updating the description in the dashboard but now that it is now empty here I am not sure how to proceed,
I would be grateful for some advice on this.
AFAIK if you do not use the dashboard it will automatically extract it from your snapcraft.yaml … if you use the dashboard one it will override the snapcraft.yaml one
Thank you for your reply. I have now put the full description in the snapcraft.yaml file and this description now shows up in the dashboard. It also shows up in my private view in snapcraft.io but the public view in snapcraft.io is showing an older version.
I think I may have solved this problem by making an edit and saving in my private view of snapcraft.io. The full and up to date description now shows up in all places.
