Delete unused snaps from my snapcraft account

You can set the snaps as private and should someone want the names in the future, they can raise a dispute to claim them. If you haven’t published a revision to them, you can remove the name from your account yourself at https://snapcraft.io/snaps

If you have published a revision to them, then even if an admin removes you from the snap, the snap itself continues to endure and would have metadata like the contents and users who uploaded it indefinitely. Meanwhile you wouldn’t be able to ever go back to using it without asking to be readded whilst users could still have copies of it, now with no maintainer at all.

The practical ideal here then is just mark those snaps as private so that you COULD go back to them, it’s unlikely anyone else actually would, and if they really did want to, there’s a process for it.
