Why does dbus auto-connection needs manual review? I have a snap with dbus slot, what should be the process of publishing it? What are the processes of manual review?
It’s so a snap can’t impersonate a well known service, such as the Secrets service that would store private keys.
If your slot makes reasonable sense, E.G, it’s named after your snap, it’s usually granted autoautomatically, where you’d just need to wait.
Actually I’m facing a lot of issues, with this snap, like the preferences not being saved, there is a option of replaygain and pipewire, these aren’t also working.

I don’t see the snap published in the store… Did you you complete the release process https://snapcraft.io/docs/releasing-to-the-snap-store?
No I didn’t, But I have published another one. Tube-Converter. This one is also facing some issues, but I don’t know what’s the issue. Can you help me anyways?
This is the code of it
Apparently every gtk app needs dbus. The reason is gio-gtkapplication registration.
Any more details about dbus-connection? This is another snap by me, which also needs dbus.

It seems you have removed the dbus slot from your two snaps (tube-converter
and saber
) on their most recent uploads - can you please re-add these, then I can manually approve them? Thanks.
Okay, so I discussed with the upstream-dev, and the dbus isn’t necessary for tube-converter
, but it’s necessary for saber. But how should I do so?
I edited my snapcraft.yaml
file to this. But it’s getting failed everytime? Am I doing something wrong?

Also in this snap, I am getting an issue regarding fonts. As this is a flutter app, I have to use core-18, but yaru theme wasn’t available core-18, that can be a reason. The error I’m getting is,
running /snap/bin/saber I get

You are doing nothing wrong when getting the dbus denial - it is a normal part of publishing a snap to the store that it needs to be manually approved. Can you please upload a version of the snap declaring this slot and I can then manually approve it?
For the fonts issue, you would be best asking in the snap
category as I am not as familiar with that side of things.
The build is getting failed. I am not even able to build the snap. Is my snapcraft.yaml file okay? Check this action please. You’ll get what’s the problem.
The issue is you have a typo - instead of dbus: session
it should be bus: session
- please try that instead.
Done, please check it.
