Some gnome applications use dbus activated services for important functionality. For example, evince exports a “evinced” daemon, launched via org.gnome.evince.Daemon.service, which registers all open documents to allow for unique instances of documents (i.e. opening a pdf file from nautilus when it is already open simply focuses the existing instance). Is there any timeline on when snaps can export and use dbus activated services?
