Core20 base

Hi,

A few snapcraft docs recommend against using core20 as base, because of plugins and extensions support.

Is that really still the case, even though core20 has a latest/stable channel version ?

I’d say it depends on whether you have to rely on extensions/plug-ins that only work with core18. I’m currently migrating my snaps to core20 bases, and one requires the ruby plug-in which does not work with core20 (yet?). But I’ll probably just switch to the ruby snap instead – faster builds and less special cases.

I would recommend core20, unless using an extension or plugin that does not yet support core20.
