I can not find informations about the Core18 (then 20, 22) lifetime. If their end of life planed and wrote somewhere ?
Note: I have hear that the first Core (‘core16’) will end its life this year.

Yes, the core snaps (core18, core20, core22…) follow Ubuntu Core’s standard support window of 10 years. Each release of Ubuntu Core is built from one of these. Ubuntu Core 18 will be supported until 2028, for example, Ubuntu Core 20 until 2030, and Ubuntu Core 22 until 2032. Commercial services are available for those who need to extend the support window.
These timelines are in the Ubuntu Core release and maintenance documentation, but we’re aware they’re not clearly documented enough, and we’re working to improve this. Thank you for the question!
On a side note, as pointed out above in the link snapcraft will not follow this schedule but rather the 5y one if it comes to support for building snaps with these bases.
If you plan to build something for an old base like core18 you will have to make sure to install the respectively old snapcraft from one of the versioned channels.
