What does this message mean? It doesn’t seem to be the same with the automatic linking dependency installation message.

Nope. I also completely forgot how I ever encounter this message.

I think this is when you have a file staged, which is a symlink to a file on the system or in the snapcraft prime directory. See https://github.com/snapcore/snapcraft/blob/92ffc602270422a3db5292bac1abfff9940c678a/snapcraft/internal/repo/_base.py#L310-L318
