Clubhouse linux app cannot sign in with 6 digit code

Have installed the Clubhouse Unofficial app on my latest linux mint but it doesn’t want to verify with the 6 digit code sent to my phone, the button only activates when I shorten the code to 4 digits. It seems to be the same flaw as the Clubhouse Unofficial app I had to install on my old Android phone which has the same problem. I can only install it on my iPad. Does the developer intend to update his app for the 6 digit code or is this an abandoned project?
