Considering that /etc/gitconfig is clearly not owned by clickable, I would prefer to limit the request to just manual connection. I would expect clickable users to have the required skills and manual connection to ssh-keys interface is already needed.

It would also be great if you can update the documentation, as most snap connect commands should not be needed anymore
Updated documentation is on the way and will be deployed with the next Clickable release.
