Classic confinement request for Scrape

Hello,

I’d like to request for classic confinement for my Scrape app.

It’s a CLI utility to scrape emails from websites. It has an option to render JS pages but this feature depends on chromium engine. I have failed to find a nice workaround by packaging only headless chromium to the snap: by adding to stage-snaps it fails, since chromium itself requires classic confinement.

Thanks for the request. Please note that chromium is strictly confined, not classic. Difficulties in getting an application to run in strict mode is not typically a justification for classic confinement. I suggest filing a new topic with the ‘snapcraft’ category describing specific issues you are having so the right people can help.
