Currently i use strict confinement, but if i understand correct OpenGL inside snap will not work with nvidia proprietary drivers for example. And maybe in some other cases too.
So i think i need classic confinement.
NVidia drivers work in most scenarios, I believe there’s a few exceptions with Debian and Debian pure derivatives (but not Ubuntu and Ubuntu derivatives), there’s some proposed work to fix this in the future but I’m unsure the current state of that work.
If you were using the Gnome/KDE extensions, or the Snapcraft Desktop Helpers you’d be setup for NVidia proprietary drivers that would work even in strict confinement, and these are the two primary suggested ways of getting a snap environment setup, since they also handle other problems such as input support, audio support, etc.
