Classic confinement for Eclipse Theia IDE

Sorry for the delay in the response. Could you please develop why Eclipse Theia IDE cannot run under strict confinement and classic is required?.

Hi, the Eclipse Theia IDE can run under strict confinements when used as a text editor only. However some plugins such as the Java plugin by RedHat allow to run and debug application so it needs the same permissions as the Eclipse IDE. In fact the language server is based on the same code base.
