Can't install snapd on debian stretch after running apt update - apparmor missing

Hi, I’m trying to install snapd on debian stretch.

I ran sudo apt update first:

Here’s the error I’m getting with the snapd install (and I do have apparmor installed):

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
snapd : Depends: apparmor (>= 2.10.95-0ubuntu2.2) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Ideas welcome!

What does apt-cache policy apparmor return?

Note that the forum will not let me post more than two links, so here’s the edited output.

apparmor:

Here the same, cant connect to Nordpass with Debian 10.30.0 SnapCraft in terminal.
snapcraft

not really … the above was a dependency glitch in the debian archive that prevented the installation of snapd … you obviously have snapd installed but it seems to not be running … you should open a new topic for this, it is unrelated to the above.
