Can't access zdump from inside a snap

Hi,
I have a snap which requires access to /usr/bin/zdump.
When snap runs in devmode there are no issues, but with strict confinement zdump usage is denied.
The timezone-control is connected, but maybe this is not the right interface to use zdump.

Any hint on how to solve the problem?
I’m using core18.

Not all binaries from the core are allowed. Have you tried adding zdump using stage-packages? The other alternative is to work with the @security team on #snapd to get zdump on the allow list when connecting timezone-control (this would need assessment).

Adding zdump to the snap with stage-packages works indeed!
I was not completely aware of this solution.
