I just did a fresh Ubuntu 18.04 install, installed AMDGPU-PRO, Ubuntu Kernel Utility and a 4.19.6-041906-generic kernel. Then I installed a few snaps and went to try them out. It didn’t launch from the gui launcher and the $ snap run <installed-snap-name>
always gets me the following result:
cannot perform readlinkat() on the mount namespace file descriptor of the init process: Permission denied

[EDIT]:
$ sudo snap refresh core --edge
appears to have fixed the issue for me. When is the fix expected to land into stable?
