The following snaps have been updated to the latest Mir release (2.13.0):
| snap | version | notes |
|---|---|---|
| mir-kiosk | 2.13.0-snap134 | |
| egmde | 156-mir2.13.0-snap202 | |
| mir-test-tools | 2.13.0-snap123 |
20 and 22 tracks |
| ubuntu-frame | 98-mir2.13.0 |
20 and 22 tracks |
We are in the process of introducing suppport for both base: core20 and base: core22 snaps and the 20 and 22 tracks for ubuntu-frame and mir-test-tools corresponding to these. Support for these will correspond to support for Ubuntu 20.04LTS and Ubuntu 22.04LTS respectively.
There is still some setup to be done for using the 22 tracks and we will be making an announcement when that is ready. In the meantime we currently recommend using the 20 track for consistency with existing base: core20 apps.
This release of Ubuntu Frame introduces a number of improvements to the configuration of multiple display outputs and managing multiple applications. For details see:
To test, just switch to the candidate channel. For example:
snap refresh --channel 20/candidate ubuntu-frame
And use as normal. Please let us know any results here.
If no problems are identified we aim to promote to stable in a week.
