Snapcraft 8.10.0 is in the latest/candidate and 8.x/candidate channels. The tentative release data to stable is 2025-07-07T00:00:00Z.

Highlights include:

  • A new .NET plugin for core24 snaps
  • An init profile for ROS 2 applications
  • Improved test command
  • Support for CMake in the GNOME extension
