I just built a new version of signal which bumps it to 5.6.0. It’s currently in the edge channel. Please test this and verify using the menu help > about signal desktop you’re running version 5.6.0.

Results:

  • App launches and works fine.
  • The version reported herein help > about signal desktop is 5.6.1 .
    I am on revision 362 from edge channel.

Correct, after releasing 5.6.0, signal found a few important bugs and almost immediately published a new release to fix these.

I’m pushing it to stable now.
